Our HistoryIn 2013, seventy local residents participated in a “listening campaign” to explore their thoughts, concerns and ideas about what was needed in the greater Willow Creek / Trinity River community. The greatest concern, by an overwhelming margin, was the need for a community center.
In a community meeting on January 22, 2014, 25 people came together to discuss ideas about what that might look like. From that committee’s work has come Mountain Community and Culture, a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to bringing a community center to the Trinity River Valley. In 2018, MCC joined forces with Dream Quest, a local youth partnership, to share resources for accomplishing our common goal. Uniting to build a community center! Our FuturePreserving the environment and our relationships to one another is paramount to maintaining our quality of life. With the creation of our community center we can better foster these relationships with one another. Together, we can continue to ensure that Trinity Valley remains a great place to live.

Accomplishing this goal will require a community-wide collaboration and partnership. |
